Product description
Built in 1836, the Glenfarclas Distillery has been owned by the Grant family since 1865 and is one of the last iconic Scottish distilleries to remain in private hands.
Grants have been tempted by lucrative offers for years, but so far without success. Glenfarclas offers a wide range of its whiskies, from young, bottled without an age statement to 50-year-old. In addition, Grants release dozens of vintage editions, which are extremely popular with collectors. Annual global sales of the brand exceeded 2.5 million bottles in 2021. The Glenfarclas presented here, distilled in 1968, spent over 35 years in sherry casks and was bottled for the brand's American importer, the Sazerac Company of New Orleans in 2004.
