Product description
Mossburn Distillers & Blenders is a subsidiary of the Dutch group Marussia Beverages BV, founded in 2013.
It is the owner of the Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye (distilling since January 2017) and publisher of the whisky. Mossburn Vintage Cask is a small series of single cask Scotch single malts. The twenty-ninth batch (batch 05.1107.29) was Macduff distilled in 2007, finished in a port hogshead and bottled at cask strength (56.4% abv) and without chill filtration on 18 November 2021. Macduff Distillery is now owned by John Dewar & Sons, which has been part of Bacardi Ltd since 1998, and produces around 3.4 million litres of distillate per year, a large proportion of which is “consumed” by Dewar’s blends.
