Product description
Strathmill Distillery is based in Speyside. It began life in 1891 as the Glenisla-Glenlivet Distillery, and just four years later it was acquired by W. & A. Gilbey, who renamed it Strathmill.
After the merger with United Wine Traders in 1962, Strathmill whisky was incorporated into the J&B blend formula and remains a key component to this day. The only widely available version of the local single malt was the 12 year old in the Flora & Fauna series. The Strathmill 10 year old presented here is a Signatory Vintage offering in the Scottish Wildlife series, promoting Scottish fauna. This edition was offered in the 1990s and the distillery's animal is a squirrel.
