Product description
Fitzwilliam, a new Irish whiskey brand debuts in 2022.
The Fitzwilliam brand includes single malt, single pot still, single grain and blended whiskey. Their producer is The Great Northern Distillery based in Dundlak, County Louth, and the distribution is handled by the French company BBC Spirits. The distillery's main shareholder is John Teeling. In 2013, the Teeling family purchased the Great Northern brewery and after two years of adaptation work, in August 2015, it began distilling. The plant is equipped with stills and distillation columns and produces single malt, single pot still and single grain whiskey. The total capacity is around 12 million litres of distillate per year, making it the second largest Irish distillery. The blended whiskey presented here is a blend of triple-distilled malt and grain whiskeys aged in American oak barrels.
