Product description
Signatory Vintage, founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington, is a leading independent publisher and distributor of whisky.
Few people remember that the Symingtons started with just £100,000 and nearly went bankrupt several times in their first five years. The name "Signatory" means "Signatory" and the brothers originally intended to hire someone famous to sign each edition. The first cask of whisky bottled by Signatory was Glenlivet 1968, but before the company found the right signatory, there was no trace of the whisky. The Glen Grant presented here, distilled on 16 November 1964, spent 25 years in three sherry casks (no. 10717-10719) and was bottled in February 1990, in an edition of 1,300 bottles.
