Product description
The 20th century in the history of Bruichladdich Distillery was probably not full of successes.
The distillery experienced frequent changes of ownership and production interruptions. In 1960, it was bought from the DCL group by a small company of whisky brokers, AB Grant & Co. At that time, Bruichladdich was a small distillery equipped with a single pair of stills and produced small quantities of excellent whisky. It must have been above average, because in the early 1980s, Moon Import became its official distributor in Italy. Pepi Mongiardino, its owner, became famous for his excellent selection of barrels and is still considered a legend. The Bruichladdich 17 years old presented here is one of the first editions of Moon Import as a licensed distributor of the brand.
