Product description
Based on the Isle of Mull, the second largest island in the Inner Hebrides, Tobermory is one of Scotland's most picturesquely situated distilleries.
The annual production of around 800 thousand liters of distillate is divided equally between two single malts – Tobermory and Ledaig (the latter is a whisky distilled from malt with a concentration of phenol compounds of 35-40 ppm). In March 2017, Tobermory suspended distillation due to the replacement of stills and a general renovation of the buildings. It resumed it only two years later. Tobermory 24 years old is the second entry in the prestigious Hebridean Series. The whisky spent the last nine years of maturation in González Byass sherry Oloroso casks, and was bottled in 2022 in an edition of 3600 bottles.
