Beverbach is a whiskey brand (the company does not use the form "whisky") from the portfolio of Hardenberg Distillery, based in Lower Saxony.
The distillery has existed for over 300 years, is a well-known producer of vodka, schnapps and gin, whiskey has joined the offer relatively recently. The producer describes it as a 100% regional drink, it is distilled from wheat from its own fields and locally grown barley, aged in bourbon barrels (American oak) and brandy barrels (French oak) for three to four years and bottled at 43% abv.
Aroma: barley malt, cereal flakes, vanilla, honey, strawberries, nut shells, traces of pine needles and oak shavings.
Taste : slightly alcoholic, sweet cereals, roasted nuts, sponge cake, burnt toast, black pepper and oak.
Finish : not too long, with notes of cereal, vanilla, pepper, oak, roasted nuts and hay.
