Product description
Fèis Ìle (Islay Festival of Whisky and Music) is an annual event organised by the islanders since 1986. It promotes Islay, its culture and historical heritage.
Each local distillery participates in the event, usually honoring it with a special edition of whisky. The Bunnahabhain presented here is a single cask edition prepared for the festival in 2002. The whisky was distilled on May 16, 1966 (at that time the distillery belonged to the Highland Distillers Co.) and spent 35 years in cask no. 4379, and was bottled on March 19, 2002 in a limited edition of 401 bottles. Whiskies released for the Fèis Ìle are becoming increasingly popular among collectors and are fetching higher prices at auction.
