Product description
The year 2020 was marked by the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Johnnie Walker and the anniversary-related commemorative editions of whisky and the documentary pilot.
The Man Who Walked Around the World and Nicholas Morgan’s A Long Stride: The Story of the World’s No. 1 Scotch Whisky. Indeed, from humble beginnings in a small grocery store in Kilmanrock to a mega-global whisky brand, Johnnie Walker has written an extraordinary page in the history of Scotland and its heritage. One of the anniversary editions was the Blue Label Legendary Eight presented here. This time, blender Jim Beveridge used whiskies from eight distilleries that were in operation at the time of John Walker – Oban, Lagavulin, Blair Athol, Teaninich, Brora, Carsebridge, Cambus and Port Dundas. Only the first four survived to celebrate their bicentenary.
