Product description
Deanston Distillery is based in Perthshire in the southern Highlands. It began in 1966 in buildings that had previously operated a cotton mill.
Since 1990, it has belonged to the Scottish company Burn Stewart Distillers, which in 2013 was acquired by the Distell Group from South Africa (which in turn was purchased by Heineken in 2021). Deanston produces around 3 million liters of distillate annually, most of which goes to the Scottish Leader blend, the annual sales of which exceed 6 million bottles. The Deanston 1999 presented here is a proposal of the German company Jack Wiebers Whisky World in the artistic Prenzlow Portfolio Collection; a single cask edition from 2019 (bourbon barrel) limited to 120 bottles. Alfred Prenzlow is a contemporary German painter and graphic artist whose works have repeatedly decorated Jack Wiebers whisky editions.
