Dailuaine Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, between the Glenfarclas and Benrinnes distilleries. Now owned by Diageo, it has three pairs of stills and can produce over 5 million spirits per year.

Dailuaine has been associated with Johnnie Walker blends for years, and official single malt editions are rare. The Dailuaine 12 years old presented here is part of The Un-chillfiltered Collection by Signatory Vintage. Distilled on May 6, 2009, the whisky was aged in two hogshead casks (no. 307405 + 307406) and bottled on November 19, 2021 at 46% abv and without chill filtration.

Aroma: spring meadow, vanilla, brown sugar, heather honey, graham crackers, walnuts, apples, pears, notes of ginger and oak.

Taste : sweet breakfast cereals, vanilla pudding, milk fudge, buttered toast, roasted nuts, orange peel, stewed apples and a pinch of spices.

Finish: medium long, with notes of breakfast cereal, sweet bread, summer fruits, white pepper and oak.
