Product description
Glen Keith Distillery is an investment by the Canadian concern Seagram from 1957. It was intended to supply single malt whisky for the creation of its own blends, mainly Passport and 100 Pipers.
In 1999, production was suspended, and two years later, the idle distillery became Pernod Ricard's property. Glen Keith lay dormant for over a decade, before renovation and expansion began in 2012, and distillation began a year later. The Glen Keith presented here, distilled on June 5, 1991, spent three decades in bourbon barrel no. 73658, and was bottled at cask strength (50.2% abv) by Signatory Vintage on August 30, 2021 for La Maison du Whisky in Paris in an edition of 175 bottles.
