Product description
In 2020, Compass Box Whisky Company celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The company was founded by John Glaser, former marketing director of UDV, the previous incarnation of Diageo. Glaser is a larger-than-life figure in today's whisky world, not only putting together excellent blends but also being willing to reveal the details of their formulas, avoiding the clichés of advertising. Rogues' Banquet celebrates its 20th anniversary. The whisky is made from Miltonduff (around 69%, re-charred casks), North British (around 25%, fresh bourbon hogsheads) and a small amount of Clynelish malt aged in refill hogsheads and Glen Elgin from re-charred casks. The components were aged for at least 25 years. The whisky was bottled at 46% abv, and the production run was 5,267 bottles.
