Product description
Bowmore "No Corner to Hide" recalls a local legend of how, years ago, the Devil visited the church in Bowmore village.
The building is round and the devil had nowhere to hide. The parishioners tried to corner him, but the devil fell into the distillery warehouse, where workers were filling barrels of whiskey and loading them onto a ship. The gates were immediately bolted and the room was searched, but there was no trace of the devil, hidden in a barrel, he sailed away with the whiskey transport. No Corner to Hide is the result of cooperation between master blender Ron Welsch and artist Frank Quitely. The whiskey spent over two decades in hogshead barrels (American oak), then finished for two years in "Essencia barriques" barrels made of very rare pink oak. 6,666 bottles were released for sale.
