Product description
Brothers James and John Grant began producing whisky in 1832 at the Aberlour distillery.
In 1840, they opened their own distillery in Rothes, and John soon leased the nearby Drumbain farm (initially the distillery bore its name). The Grants focused on efficiency, their newly built distillery could produce over 300,000 liters of alcohol per year, which was a significant potential at the time. Today, the distillery belongs to the Italian Gruppo Campari and, equipped with 8 stills, can distill over 6 million liters of spirit per year. Glen Grant 10 years old has been the basic version of this single malt for years, and since 2020 it has been offered with a new, green label. The brand's current sales are just under 3 million bottles (2019), which places it just outside the top ten most popular single malts.
