Product description
Built in 1836, Glenfarclas Distillery has belonged to the Grant family since 1865 and is one of the last Scottish distilleries to remain in private hands.
The Grants have been tempted by lucrative offers for years, so far without success. 2020 was another success for Glenfarclas, with sales of the brand increasing to 2.5 million bottles, which gave it twelfth place in the ranking of the most popular single malts. The Private Reserve edition presented here was composed of distillates aged for 8 to 10 years, and the barrels were selected personally by the distillery manager Callum Fraser. It was intended for the French market, and 9,990 bottles were sold.
