Product description
Distiller's Masterpiece was first published in 1999. It was the creation of Booker Noe († 2004), grandson of Jim Beam and creator of the Jim Beam Small Batch series.
At the time, bourbons were not very popular, but the single malt market was emerging, which would soon pave the way for American whiskey. The original Masterpiece received very favorable reviews, but the limited edition took several years to sell; it was priced at $250, compared to a $20 bottle of premium bourbon. In 2013, Booker's son, Fred Noe, returned to the project with another edition of Distiller's Masterpiece. This time, it was a bourbon finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels, presented in elegant crystal decanters. We don't know how long it matured, but Fred assures us it is an "extra aged" whiskey from the best barrels.
