Product description
Benromach Distillery is located near Forres. Although a recent modernisation has increased its production capacity by 40% (to 700,000 litres of distillate per annum), Benromach remains the smallest commercial distillery in Speyside.
Since 1993, the distillery has been owned by Gordon & MacPhail, a leading independent whisky publisher who have brilliantly promoted the brand and built an extremely attractive sales offer. The edition presented here was intended exclusively for the German market. The whisky, distilled in 2009, was aged for over 11 years in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 48% abv and without chill filtration in an edition of 1,198 bottles.
