Product description
Kilchoman is a small distillery operating on the Isle of Islay since 2005.
Much of the barley it uses comes from nearby fields, and its own malthouse covers about 25% of demand. Kilchoman is equipped with one pair of stills, and its production capacity reaches 200 thousand liters of alcohol per year. Machir Bay debuted in 2012, as the first edition of the company's permanent offer, and immediately won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition . The whisky is aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, with a predominance of the former, and bottled without cold filtration, with an alcohol content of 46%. Machir Bay is the most beautiful beach on the island.
