Product description
With annual sales of over 10 million bottles, Bushmills is currently the third best-selling Irish whiskey behind Jameson and Tullamore Dew.
Since 2014, the distillery has been owned by Casa Cuervo, the producer of José Cuervo tequila, which plans to expand the plant and increase its production capacity to 9 million liters of alcohol per year (planned investment cost £34 million). In 2020, the company announced the launch of a new series, "Bushmills Original Cask Finish", the forerunner of which is the Caribbean Cask Finish presented here. It uses Bushmills single malt aged in American oak barrels and finished in Caribbean rum barrels, and triple-distilled single grain whiskey.
