Product description
Glenlivet single malt is the permanent runner-up in the category, second in popularity only to Glenfiddich.
In 2018, it recorded global sales of 14.5 million bottles, compared to 16.8 million for its arch-rival. That year, Glenlivet Distillery was named Scotland’s largest malt distillery, with the expansion having increased its annual production capacity to 21 million litres. Independent publishers are keen to include Glenlivet in their ranges, and sherry-cask-aged editions are very popular. The one presented here comes from a fresh sherry butt no. 901004 filled in 2006 and bottled at cask strength (62.8% abv) by Signatory Vintage after a 13-year maturation. The edition consisted of 645 bottles.
