Product description
Glen Keith Distillery is an investment of the Canadian concern Seagram from 1957.
It was intended to supply single malt whisky for its own blends, mainly Passport and 100 Pipers. In 1999, production was suspended, and two years later the inactive distillery became the property of Pernod Ricard. Glen Keith was dormant for over a decade, in 2012 it began renovation and expansion, and distillation began a year later. The Glen Keith presented here is an example of "old school" whisky. Distilled in February 1967 from barley malted on site, it spent 22 years in three oak casks (no. 1128-1130), and was bottled in August 1989 at 46% by Signatory Vintage in an edition of 700 bottles.
