Product description
Connoisseurs Choice is one of the oldest whisky series in the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio.
It debuted in the mid-1960s, when most Scottish malt distilleries produced for blenders, not even considering promoting their whiskies as single malts. Today, over half a century later, Connoisseurs Choice still competes successfully in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The Ardbeg presented here, distilled in 1974, when the distillery belonged to the DCL group and the Canadian company Hiram Walker & Sons, joined the series in 1996 after more than 20 years of maturation.
