Mezcal Artesanal Los Danzantes Joven / 47% / 0.7l

Mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave (Agave angustifolia) at the Los Danzantes distillery in Santiago Matatlas in the Mexican state of Oaxaca.

It is not aged in barrels, it is bottled immediately after the distillation process is complete. The bottle does not contain the insect larva. Due to a dispute over brand rights, the same mezcal is sold in the United States under the name Los Nahuales.

Aroma : Vegetable, slightly buttery, sweet, a bit of smoke.

Taste : Sweet, agave, nuts, toffee, honey.

Finish : Warming, a bit smoky, agave accents.
