Product description
In 1897, James Grant built the Glen Grant Nº 2 distillery. It produced whisky for just five years before falling into a 60-year coma.
The restoration and equipment of the distillery were completed in 1965, and distilling resumed as the Caperdonich Distillery. Almost all of its production went into Chivas Bros. blends. In 2002, the distillery suspended production again, this time never to resume. After a few years, the property was acquired by the still manufacturer Forsyth of Rothes. The Caperdonich 5 year presented here dates from the 1970s and was intended for the Italian market. It was imported by Armando Giovinetti, the distributor of Macallan.
