XOP stands for Xtra Old Particular and refers to the finest single malt and single grain casks from the family’s stock. The Tullibardine 25 year old on display here was distilled in March 1993 and aged for a quarter of a century in a refilled hogshead cask no. DL 12624. Bottled in June 2018 at cask strength (55.3% abv) in an edition limited to 250 bottles, Tullibardine Distillery has been producing whisky since 1949. It is now owned by the French company Picard Vins & Spiriteux and, equipped with two pairs of stills, can produce 3 million litres of distillate per year.
