Product description
Bunnahabhain single malt is increasingly being offered by independent publishers, which undoubtedly has a positive impact on sales of official editions.
The one presented here is Ian Macleod Distillers’ entry in the prestigious Dun Bheagan series (the name of the series refers to an ancient Gaelic village on the Isle of Skye). The whisky was distilled in December 2007 and aged in two hogsheads for 10 years, and bottled at cask strength (56% abv) and without chill filtration in an edition of 575 bottles. The Bunnahabhain Distillery, based on the Isle of Islay, has been producing whisky since 1881. It is now owned by Burn Stewart Distillers, a subsidiary of Distell Group Ltd, and produces 2.5 million litres of distillate per year.
