Product description
Oban, often called Diageo’s hidden gem, is a small distillery located in the picturesque namesake town, which grew up around the distillery.
The distillery produces a little over 800,000 liters of spirit per annum and is the second smallest in Diageo’s portfolio. In 1988 Oban 14 years old was included in the original Classic Malts series and the new millennium brought out several interesting limited releases. In 2018 Oban made entry into prestigious Special Releases range for the third time. The whisky distilled in 1996 was aged exclusively in refill European oak sherry butts and bottled at natural strength of 57%.
