Product description
Sestante is a name that sends shivers down the spines of whisky connoisseurs and collectors. The legendary Italian importer (and later bottler) operated in the whisky market from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
Currently, Sestante editions are considered "white crows" and are in the hands of whisky collectors, who very rarely decide to get rid of them. In 2000, the Silver Seal company was founded, considered the spiritual successor of Sestante, and the rights to both brands have been held by Massimo Righi for several years. The Port Ellen 1980 presented here is a proposal of the Silver Seal Company from 2001, part of the prestigious Sestante Collection. It was a single cask edition of 420 bottles.
