Product description
Glen Moray 12 years old debuted in the 1970s when the distillery was owned by Macdonald & Muir, owner of Glenmorangie, and remains a core part of the distillery’s offering to this day.
Since 2008, Glen Moray has been owned by the French distillery La Martiniquaise, which has doubled the distillery's production capacity to 6.5 million liters of distillate per year and has successfully promoted its single malt. In October 2016, the Elgin Heritage Collection was introduced, which, alongside the 15 and 18 year old versions, included the 12 year old presented here. The whiskies used in this edition were aged exclusively in bourbon barrels. Elgin Heritage is the brainchild of Graham Coull, Glen Moray's master distiller, who, in addition to selecting the barrels, collaborated on developing the graphic design of the series.
