Product description
Seagram's VO Blend was blended by Joseph E. Seagram in 1913 for his son's wedding. It is difficult to say today whether the "VO" designation should be deciphered as "Very Old" or "Very Own", it was probably a "whiskey for a special occasion".
In 1928, the Bronfman family took over all of Seagram's assets and VO soon became one of the most important items in the sales offer. It was produced at the Waterloo Distillery and after its closure at the Gimli distillery. Since 2001, the Seagram brand belongs to the Diageo group and is currently blended at the Valleyfield Distillery. The Gold version presented here is blended from distillates aged for at least 8 years. Current sales of the Seagram's VO brand are just over a million cases.
