Product description
In October 2016, Glen Moray Distillery introduced the Elgin Heritage Collection consisting of three single malts – 12, 15 and 18 years old.
While the 12 and 18 year old versions are based on spirits aged in American oak barrels, the 15 year old is a combination of whiskies aged in bourbon and sherry casks. Elgin Heritage is the brainchild of Graham Coull, Glen Moray’s master distiller, who selected the casks and collaborated on the presentation of the series. His signature adorns each label and packaging. The Glen Moray distillery is based in Speyside, near Elgin. It was founded in 1897 and has been owned by the French company La Martiniquaise since 2008. The brand sells 1.2 million bottles a year, making it the fifth most popular single malt on the British market.
