Product description
Tamnavulin Double Cask debuted in 2016, the year the distillery celebrated its 50th anniversary.
It was also the first official Tamnavulin release in the new century. The distillery did not distill between 1995 and 2007, and currently uses about 90% of its potential, producing 3.5 million liters of distillate per year. Tamnavulin is one of the main components of Whyte & Mackay blends, single malt releases are sporadic and rather devoid of marketing. The Double Cask version presented here is a whisky aged in white American oak barrels and finished for a short period in sherry casks.
