Product description
The village of Aberfeldy lies on the south bank of the River Tay. The distillery bearing its name was built between 1896 and 1898 by John Dewar & Sons, and several of the original buildings are still in use.
In the new century, Aberfeldy remains the key to Dewar's blends , but recently Bacardi (owner of the distillery since 1998) has been spending more and more money to promote the single malt . In 2014, the label was improved and new editions were introduced. The 16 year old presented here, which debuted a year later, is a whisky blended from distillates aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-sherry casks. It is another "palate-friendly" version of Aberfeldy.
