Another expression of Balblair bottled before 2007, when the owners, after repackaging the entire range, started branding their whisky by distillation year rather than age.

Balblair Distillery is equipped with 1 pair of stills and its distilling capacity exceeds 1.8 million of spirit per annum. It supplies malt whisky for number of Inver House blends such as: Inver House Green Plaid, Hankey Bannister, Catto’s, Pinwinnie Royale and MacArthur’s.

Nose: light and fragrant, slightly nutty, oranges, apricots, hints of sweet spice.

Palate: light and smooth, chocolate shortbread, vanilla, honey, hints of sherry and oak.

Finish: fairly long, toffee, stewed apples, oaky dryness.
