Product description
Ezra Brooks Bourbon debuted in the 1950s at Hoffman Distilling Company. In the 1970s, the brand was acquired by Medley Distilling Co., which sold it in 1993 to David Sherman Corporation based in St. Louis, Missouri.
The latter changed its name to Luxco Inc. in 2006. Ezra B. 12 years old is a single barrel version of Ezra Brooks bourbon; the whiskey was supplied by a distillery in Kentucky, although it is an open secret that Heaven Hill is behind the brand. The bourbon presented here comes from barrel no. 509 and was bottled in January 2014. In 2018, Luxco opened its own distillery in Bardstown (Lux Row Distillers), and that is where Ezra Brooks bourbon is currently distilled.
