Tequila 1800 is a spirit produced in the Casa Cuervo distillery owned by Jose Cuervo, located in the town of Tequila in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The date 1800 in the name of the spirit refers to the year in which tequila was supposedly first produced in Mexico. The shape of the bottle refers to the Mayan pyramids.
This tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, distilled twice in traditional stainless steel stills with copper. After a long and gentle aging process, the extra añejo tequila matures for a short time in French oak cognac barrels, creating a balanced, smooth and unique taste.
Aroma: Oak with notes of vanilla.
Taste: Notes of vanilla, red fruits and cinnamon.
Finish: long with notes of mint chocolate.
