Product description
Cowboy Little Barrel is a whiskey brand from Preservation Farm & Distillery Portfolio.
The company is owned by Marci Palatella, former CEO of a liquor distribution company, who bought an old 40-acre tobacco farm and converted it to a distillery (Marci also raises Bluegrass Longhorn cattle). Preservation is a very small outfit equipped with a tiny single pot still and produces just a few barrels of spirit daily. The company sources whiskey, processes it, then bottles it under various brands. Cowboy Little Barrel is a blended whiskey of undisclosed formula. According to the legal definition American Blended Whiskey has to contain no less than 20% of straight whiskey, with the remaining part being a grain spirit. Cowboy Little Barrel makes an excellent base for classic cocktails, such as Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
