Product description
Glenfarclas Distillery, based in Ballindalloch, Speyside, has been owned by the Grant family since 1865.
It is one of a handful of distilleries that matures its whisky primarily in sherry casks and does not use first-fill bourbon casks. John Grant, Glenfarclas’ current director, visits Spain at least once a year to ensure a steady supply of sherry casks. This strategy has resulted in incredible brand loyalty and excellent sales growth, with more than 2.5 million bottles sold in 2021. Each year, Glenfarclas releases a number of limited editions, often for exclusive distribution in a given country. This 26-year-old, made from sherry cask-aged spirits, was intended for the Dutch market.
