Product description
Hennessy has been leading the cognac sales statistics for years.
In 2021, 8.6 million cases were sold, which translated into almost 6 billion euros. The grapes used in production come from four growing districts in the region - Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. Hennessy XO, blended by Maurice Hennessy in 1870, was the first cognac to be classified as XO (Extra Old). It is currently a blend of about a hundred eaux-de-vie produced from the Ugni Blanc grape variety and aged for up to 30 years. The Hennessy XO edition presented here celebrates the Year of the Rabbit according to the lunar calendar (21.01.2023 - 9.02.2024). The author of the graphic design is the Chinese painter Yan Pei-Ming. His painting "The Great Race" shows galloping animals of the zodiac carrying a message of freedom, integration and interaction.
