Product description
Dictador 2 Masters is a series of extremely rare, limited edition Colombian rums.
Each of them was first carefully selected by the Dictador brand's master blender, Hernan Parra, and then traveled to the places where other spirits were made, where they were further "processed" by local masters. This involved selecting the right barrels for further maturation of the rum and giving it an additional aromatic and flavor dimension by combining the highest quality Colombian rum with the characteristics of spirits such as whisky, cognac, Armagnac or exquisite French wines. Each bottle of these limited editions is provided with a special quality certificate - next to the fingerprint of Hernan Parra from Dictador, the label includes the fingerprint of each of the masters responsible for the final stage of preparation of a given spirit.
Dictador 2 Masters Despagne 1979 is a 43-year-old Colombian rum, matured in port barrels, then transported to France, to the Bordeaux wine region. There it went to the Despagne winery, where it was placed in a barrel that had previously stored local wine for 34 months. The barrel was selected by Bordeaux winemaker Thibault Despagne. The rum was bottled in February 2022 in a limited edition of 257 individually numbered bottles.
