Product description
Bellevoye is a French blended malt whisky (the producer calls it a "triple malt") from the Les Bienheureux portfolio.
The company was founded in 2013 by Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech, based in the Cognac region and is a blender (it doesn’t distill itself). Their first product was rum, but their life’s mission is to create a luxurious blended whisky made exclusively from French components. Bellevoye Rouge (or Red Label) is a blend of three French single malts from three different regions, aged for 5 to 10 years in French oak barrels, finished in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru barrels for another six months. The final maturation takes place in Les Bienheureux warehouses in Charente. The name “Bellevoye” means a road rarely traveled.
