Product description
Writer's Tears is a one-of-a-kind Irish whiskey, a blend of single pot still and single malt distillates aged in white American oak barrels.
Every drop of whiskey is triple distilled, although its creators do not reveal the origin of the ingredients. Writer's Tears debuted in 2009 and received very positive reviews, which encouraged its creators, Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, to expand the offer. The Cask Strength edition was released two years later and hits the market annually in limited releases. The eleventh batch from 2021 consisted of 6,000 bottles (of which 1,500 went to the American market) and in its composition used whiskey aged exclusively in bourbon barrels.
