Product description
Woody Creek Distillers was founded in 2012 by Mark Kleckner and Pat and Mary Scanlan.
Based in Basalt, about 15 miles west of Aspen, the company relies on locally grown grains, growing its own potatoes for its Woody Creek Potato Vodka and gin. Its rye whiskey, distilled from 100% rye, won a gold medal at the 2016 World Spirit Competition. The latest addition to the lineup is Woody Creek Colorado Bourbon, distilled from a mash bill of 70% corn, 15% rye, and 15% malted barley. It is aged for a minimum of four years in new, third-burn American oak barrels and bottled at 45% abv.
