Product description
Camus is the fifth largest cognac house and the biggest family owned Cognac Company.
It was founded by Jean Baptiste Camus in 1863. It is located in the Château du Plessis in the smallest growing cru of the region, Borderies, north of the city of Cognac. Since 2004 Cyril Camus, great-great grandson of Jean Baptiste, is the company president. Camus Extra Dark & Intense was created by Cyril Camus and Patrick Léger, the company cellar master, and launched in 2015. It is a blend of the best eaux-de-vie aged from 30 to 50 years. The chosen casks were emptied and toasted again to boost their full aromatic potential. The cognac then returned to these casks for a special finishing phase that has been named “Dark & Intense”.
