Product description
In 1855 Graham Menzies built the Caledonian Distillery in Edinburgh.
At the end of the 19th century it was the largest distillery in the UK, producing 10 million litres of grain distillate per year. In 1884 Caledonian became the property of DCL and continued production for over 100 years. It last distilled in 1988 and 10 years later the estate was sold to developers. The Caledonian 32 years old presented here was distilled on 10 April 1987 and aged in hogshead cask no. 23482.
