Product description
Armorik single malt is a product of the Warengehem distillery based in Lannion, Brittany.
It was founded in the early 20th century by Leon Warengehem, but the first attempts at whisky production did not take place until the late 1980s. Armorik Single Malt debuted a few years later. Currently, the plant, equipped with one pair of stills, produces around 150,000 liters of malt distillate per year using only locally grown barley and 30,000 liters of grain distillate. The Armorik Brest 2020 presented here is a limited edition (2,000 bottles) released on the occasion of the Brest International Maritime Festival. The whisky distilled in March 2013 was aged in bourbon barrels and finished in Madeira barrels. The author of the graphic design of the label is the author of the festival poster, Gildas Java.
