Product description
White Heather Whiskey debuted in the early 1950s in the offering of White Heather Distillers, a subsidiary of S. Campbell & Son.
In 1974, Pernod Ricard took over the company and soon stopped producing White Heather. In 2017, Billy Walker purchased the Glenallachie distillery from the group and the rights to two blends – MacNair's and White Heather. The latter returned to the market in spring 2021 with a limited edition (2,000 bottles) of 21 years old. The whisky is a blend of malt and grain distillates from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay, aged in first-fill and refill bourbon and sherry casks for 18 years, after which the finished blend was aged for an additional three years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon casks and virgin American oak casks.
