Product description
In 1858, Madame Pommery took over the entire Pommery & Greno company after her husband's death. At the beginning of her expansion, she set herself goals - to create wines that were unlike any other, but were also of the highest quality. To ensure this, it was necessary to buy the best plots in Champagne, over time creating a rich portfolio of them. In 1874, she created Pommery Nature, the first Brut champagne, which broke with the tradition of very sweet wine. In 1868, she began the construction project of the century to meet the tastes of English consumers - the plan was to create cellars in old chalk quarries. She succeeded - an almost underground city was created.
To this day, Pommery is a symbol of the highest and timeless quality. The production process is completed by long maturation in exceptional cellars, according to the principle that maturation should create the final style of champagne.
Pommery Royal Blue Sky is designed to be served with ice, so that even the hottest summer days are not a threat to it. The blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier provides outstanding impressions. The nose is full of aromas of dried figs and almonds, after a while they are joined by notes of almond party, marshmallow and honey. On the palate it is very full, soft and rounded, full of flavors of ripe mango and bitter orange. The finish is long and harmonious, with a slightly spicy note.
Perfect as an aperitif on hot summer days. Chilled to 9-11 degrees, it will clearly display all its advantages. In culinary combinations, we can mention dishes with the addition of fruit.
